Admiral Hill (491m)

New Zealand Cycling Classic 5 stages around Masterton, in the nord-east of Wellington (North Island). 7 KOM in a hilly area, not so far from the Southern Alps (South Island). The tops don't exceed 500m and we've chosen the most strategic : the uphill finish of the 2nd stage 2017. Almost unknown in Europe, the Classic exists since 1988. The winners are mainly from New Zealand and Australia. Two exceptions : a Frenchman (Chris Jenner) and a Canadian (Eric Wahlberg). The most famous winner : Robbie McEwen in 1995.
