EXTRACTS OF THE ANGLING REGULATION MINIMUM SIZE OF THE CATCH Bouzey, the l’Abbaye and the East Canal (second category):  Pike-perch : 50

 Pike : 60 cm No minimum size for perch.

OPENINGS FOR THE DIVERSE SPECIES Pike, perch, pike-perch : opening on 01 May at 5.45 am ; closing on 9 december 2018. Number of captures of predators allowed (pike, pikeperch, black-bass) : 3 predators per fisherman and day, including 2 pikes maximum. Carp night fishing : authorised from 7 April till 9 th Décember.

GENERAL POINTS OF THE REGULATION  While angling, one must carry his/hers personal card. Not carrying the card is an offence. Specific points of the second category fishing :  Maximum 4 lines with 2 hooks at the most in the proximity of the angler.  Boot fishing in Bouzey : maximum 3 dragnet lines (throwning cane included) are allowed on each boat. 4 canes at the most for each angler who is at a fixed point. A single fishing area is allowed within the periphery marked with buoys. The angling has to be at least 30 meters away from the reserves, the shore and other fishing areas. (Regulation and controlling by the navigating department).  During the closing time of the pike angling, (opening on 01 May) fishing with live, dead or artificial fish, with spoons or others types of lure, except fort artificial flies, is forbidden in the 2nd category waters.
