ARLING DISTRICT Leh is the capital of Ladakh. The youth deserts the villages to settle there. More and more people live in Leh. Infrastructure needs to be adapted. Four years ago, the district of Arling was populated of 400 inhabitants. Today, it has more than one thousand four hundred inhabitants.
THE PROJECT At the
request of the natives, the Venerable Drubpon Tharchin Rinpoche accepted to enlarge the temple of 12 square meters into a temple of more than 1.500 square meters.
This new site called "Arling Detchen Cheuskor Ling Gon" will be inaugurated from 13 until 16 july 2018.
PROGRAM OF THE INAUGURATION 13th july : Blessings and inauguration with His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche 14th july : Teaching on the vows of the Bodhissattva leads by His Holiness 15th july : Teaching on Drikung Powa chenpo and Amitayus Buddha 16th july : Morning : Celebration of His Holiness Birthday (during Chokhor Düchen day : when Shakyamuni Buddha turns the Dharma Wheel for the first time). Afternoon : Teaching and initiation of Amitabha Buddha lead by His Eminence Togden Rinpoche. All the Drikung Kagyu Masters are expected : His Holiness Kyabgon Chesang Rinpoche, His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche, His Eminence Togden Rinpoche, His Eminence Ayang Rinpoche, His Eminence Ontrul Rinpoche…
