NOTICE OF RACE OPEN INTERNATIONAL DRAGON France TROPHEE DUPUY, DE PARSEVAL March 29 to April 1, 2013 La Grande Motte Yacht Club de La Grande Motte 1. GOVERNING RULES The regatta will be governed by: 1.1. Rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 1.2. National regulations applying to foreign competitors are specified in Annex 1.3. Federal regulations championships and national rankings are concerned when applicable 1.4. The rules of the Class of DRAGON 1.5. In case of conflict between languages, the French text shall prevail. 2. ADVERTISING Pursuant to Regulation 20 (ISAF Advertising Code), as amended by Regulation advertising FFVoile, boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority. 3. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION 3.1. The regatta is open to all boats of the class DRAGON. 3.1.1. Eligible boats may enter by completing the attached form and sending it together with the € 350 registration fee required, no later than March 15, 2013. Beyond this date, the rights will amount to € 400. 3.2. Competitors (each crew member) residing in France must be presented at time of registration: - FFVoile their license valid medical and stamped with a parental authorization for minors - If necessary, upgrade the card duly completed - The tonnage certificate or valid 2013 compliance Unlicensed foreign competitors in France must prove their affiliation to a member of the National Authority ISAF. 4. ENTRIES The fee (see: IC 3.1.1 above) will be paid by french check or by bank transfer. 5.4. The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race of the first day is 15 h 00 PM. 5.5. The last day, no starting procedure will begin after 14 h 00 PM. 6. MEASUREMENT Operations prior gauge will be held in accordance with the schedules and dates in 5.2. Competitors should contact in advance with the Dipstick test. 7. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS The sailing instructions and schedules are available at any registration confirmation (see: IC 5.1 above) or will be posted as prescribed by Federal. 8. COURSE Race will be sailed on Olympic triangle, or windward-leeward. 9. PENALTY SYSTEM DRAGON for the next class, rule 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty. The penalty system chosen will be defined in IC reset to confirmation of enrollment. 10. SCORING 10.1. Pursuant to Appendix A: Minimum System points with scoring following A.4.1 and A.4.2. 10.2.
