Work Experience March-September 2003: Valeo Climate Control (VCC) branch headquarters in La Verrière (France). Within a branch R&D project (development of a smart stepper actuator for air conditioning flaps, running on LIN bus) I was responsible for project schedule integration & follow-up, as well as "engineering change requests" followup for modifications to stepper development. Proposed improvements to engineering change request tool. Aided in multilingual discussions and negociations. Initiated new employee integration meetings. March-August 2002: Axión - Red de Banda Ancha de Andalucía (Andalusia broadband network) in Seville (Spain). Developed and implemented a robust and inexpensive transparent firewall/NAT/router solution for the corporate network, based on two machines running OpenBSD. Supplied written technical handbook in Spanish and trained network administrators to use the new tool. September 2000-February 2001: BMW A.G. in Munich (Germany). Rebuilt and developed the intranet website of the Competitor Engines Analysis department, using HTML, Javascript, Perl and desktop applications for content creation. Integrated with third-party knowledge management/archive solution. Ensured site compliance to corporate graphic identity and web standards and good practices. February 2000: assurweb.com in Paris. Fully rebuilt the multilingual search engine core (not the user interface). Assessed needs and advised the client (start-up business). Implemented using ASP and ODBC/Access technologies. April-July 1999: RATP (Parisian transports authority). Developed and implemented an intranet-to-Minitel (French service network) gateway. Implemented third-party middleware with ASP and ODBC/Access technologies. Rebuilt and aesthetically and ergonomically reworked the preexisting user interface.
