- What is Danse avec nous ? Danse avec nous is an association created by Franco Goron. Although this is a national association, it is developed in each city by different groups. As a consequence, the sessions take place everywhere in France. This association consists in organizing appointments, often divided into two parts : dance lessons and then, dance parties. Indeed, Danse Avec Nous only takes care of the registrations : lessons are given by independent associations. This can be seen as a strategy in order to avoid competition with dance associations, but it has had a lot of success and positive results. Meetings could take place everywhere, that means in hangars, out in the open, in ballrooms, etc., where there are always taprooms. Often, information stands are made available, in order to promote the different dancing associations of the area.

Danse Avec Nous was created in Bordeaux in November, the 10th of 2003 thanks to the meeting between Diane Rougeron and Franco Goron (members of the national association) with Marc Pinaud, whos a tally technical at the Opera of Bordeaux. Since his team took over leadership of the association in Bordeaux, they have given new life to Danse Avec Nous. - A social event The sessions organized by the association give people the opportunity to meet a lot of new people. Indeed, men and women, adults and children, come and dance together, even if they have never met before. Moreover, those sessions accommodate every dance level : initiate, amateur or beginning. All the dances are approached during the different sessions ; indeed, there are latin dances that is to say salsa (oporto ricaine and cuban salsa), rumba, meringue, samba, etc, ; ballroom dances (tango, waltz, chacha, ,,,), rock (boogie-woogie, swing, rocknroll, lindy-hop, bebop, etc.), and a lot of other

ones like country, charleston or earsten dances. Persons who teach dances are dancing masters who come from different associations in Bordeaux and its surroundings. Most often, associations are typical to particular dance ; for example, Association Jet 7 Swing (rock dances), Association Hola Latina (latin dances), Association Honky Tonk (country), etc. - Conclusion This national association has been created in order to expose different and diversified dances, which come from all over the world. Danse Avec Nous manifests itself by means of meetings organized everywhere in each cities. We have seen that it develops relationships between different nationalities, ages and classes. In fact, differences are the magic touch of the appointments : everybody adds a special thing.
