In The Seasons, creation of the Canadian choreographer Edouard Lock for São Paulo Companhia de Dança, what the audience sees enlightened on stage is as important as what is hidden in the darkness of the stage. Layers of light are overlapped on the variation of time. By alternating or subverting the speed of ballet movement, it makes the result of the classic dance unpredictable.
