Dear Miguel, How are you doing? Could you drop me a line and fill me in on the project you’re in charge of? Everything on track?

Best regards, David

Dear David, I’m fine, thank you. We’re currently thinking about the contingency plan with business users and sponsors. As soon as we finish the specifications we will have an idea of the budget and we will be able to plan the milestones. Now I’m going to prepare the schedule of our project after having made a communication plan with the piloting committee’s approval. Everything is on track for the moment. See you later for more information. Have a nice day, Olivier

Dear David, I’m fine, thank you. We have already established a task schedule and we finished to collect the people’s expectations. Also we’re going to write the resource specifications. But we are running late with it. We will probably send it next week for approval. Catch you later, Joël

Dear David, I’m fine, thank you. How are you? Here we are going to kick off the project with the sponsors. The signoff is for January 1st 2011 at the latest, providing for some slippage. The specifications are ok. We are going to establish the work streams and the phases and I’ll send you further news and the schedule later. Best regards, Cathy

Dear David, We have already realized 80% of the project task plan. We started the server installation to achieve the system phase. We have not tested the application, but we’ll probably start next week. We are currently completing the communication plan. The flyer will be distributed to our future users in two weeks. The project-type solution will save 20% time of team project and all KPIs are green. All milestones will be respected. I hope to launch the software in 2 months. To be continued … Ciao, Florian ©

Dear David, Bad news. As I told you last month the traditional IT staff was defined but there was a big slippage. Oliver, the Linux administrator has broken two fingers playing Gameboy, so I found another one, but he’s more expensive. So now at this step we don’t have any choice and I’m afraid that you will have to find additional funds to continue the project. I’m hoping to hear from you soon. Best regards, Franck

Dear Franck, We got to talk! Call me asap! David

Dear David, How are you? I’m fine. We are currently finishing receiving different companies to find the one that can best help us on this project. At the same time we are working on the budget to find major sponsors. If we fail to raise sufficient funds, we already have a contingency plan with a lot of small business users. Don’t worry about anything, David. We have the best resources and the God of the project managers of the universe, ME!!!! All feel good. See you later, Miguel

Dear Miguel, I think we are paying you too much!!!

Dear David, We started at the best moment because all the traditional staff was here. We have already completed 8 out of 10 phases of the project. We have not begun the next scheduled task yet, because Tom and John are sick. We are going to find two other collaborators. However, we are currently doing our best to keep the project on track. We will probably be delayed for two months. Other questions? Good holidays, Emmanuel

Dear Emmanuel, Thanks for your feedback. I’m sure you will find a solution. Hang on in there. You’re a star!!! Don’t hesitate to call if you need any help. David
