A new association (law 1901) has just been created in « Rhône-Alpes »: RHONE-ALPES PALESTINE EXCHANGES (ERAP). Cultural diversity is the common heritage of mankind and is at the heart of major international issues. Individuals and peoples can share their ideas and values with others. This desire for cultural diversity was the origin of ERAP. We wanted to promote and honour Palestinian culture.
Why create « ERAP »?
Because promoting and developing cultural exchanges builds bridges between schools, universities, economics, sports and tourism from Rhône-Alpes and from Palestine.
Because it will serve as a regional information platform on Palestine for the different actors in the cities of the Region. ERAP can make sure the planned exchanges are coherent and effective.
Who are we? We who started the association are activists, elected officials, economic actors, artists, trainers ... we want to develop and increase cultural exchanges with Palestine.
We are currently working on the preparation of a Palestinian film festival in the RhôneAlpes region.
