2005 – 2008 

Education and Qualifications IMAC Engineering School, University of Paris-Est 3 year degree in Software Engineering

 Grade equivalent to 2:1 My three year intensive course had a pre-requisite two year degree in an introductory discipline. The course consisted of taught modules with examinations, team-based and individual projects, together with two placements to consolidate the course material. Advanced algorithms and mathematics, database and web applications, graphics programming,  Modules: image and audio processing, film-making and special effects, arts  Placements:

Gemalto, Digital Security Software Provider, Meudon (Paris) April 2008 – September 2008

 Delivered a tool for graphical representation of data logs, with a web-based user interface, gathering data from files or database sources.  Responsible for automation of the testing process on a major project - coded a tool for automatic input provisioning and output validation. Gaspard Monge, IT Research Institute (IGM), Champs-sur-Marne (Paris) June 2007 – September 2007

 Examined existing code for modelling global illumination in participating media and took initiative to execute related research.  Extended and developed the model to include directional light sources: coded specific illumination equations and volume shadows casting.  Completed previous work on 3D objects for the application and added heightmap terrain.  Studied dynamic daylight computation and means to integrate it into the model.  Projects:

“Studio*DE” – A video editing program with morphing plug-in (Qt4.2/C++/GStreamer)  Functioned as part of a three-member team to devise a plug-in based application architecture.  Researched, then coded, tested and improved upon several image matching algorithms, and implemented them in an image tracking tool.  Planned and produced a complex graphics interface for the morphing plug-in.  Concluded work with a technical report and presentation. “Stereoscopy” – A tool for generation of depth maps from two camera images (Java)  Worked effectively within very challenging time constraints.  Carried out extensive research on computer vision, including stereoscopy, epipolar geometry and image data analysis.  Coded an automatic camera calibration tool and simple graphics user interface.  Developed and implemented an algorithm for creating depth maps by gathering and comparing data from stereo images.

“Sunset Coaster” – A real-time special effects demonstration tool (OpenGL/C++)  Programmed a model for real-time rendering of sky domes using shaders.  Added sun and lens flare simulation. 

2001 – 2005 

Versailles National Superior School of Architecture (ENSAV) Diploma in fundamentals of architecture.

Four years of architecture study, resulting in initial qualification that is complemented by 4 years of part-time industrial experience. Architectural design, construction and engineering, drafting and 3D modeling.  Modules:

 Projects:

Residential houses, public buildings and urban sites.

2004 – 2008 

Professional Experience A. Stanilewicz Architecture Agency, Levallois-Perret Draftswoman (part-time)

 Travelled to project locations and took initial building measurements  Prepared documents such as preliminary floor plans, diagrams and sketches for presentation to clients.  Generated detailed 3D models, diagrams and photomontages for inclusion in planning permission applications.  Produced highly detailed execution drawings for submission to construction companies.

2003 – 2008

Bazar de l’Hotel de Ville (B.H.V), Department store, Le Chesnay Cashier / Accountant (part-time)

 Originally employed in a customer-facing role as a cashier.  Promoted to accountant position in 2006.  Responsible for controlling daily cash flow, updating accounts registry and submitting data to central office.
