Europe’s smallest City supports GMOpposition Day Saturday 18th.June @ St. David’s City Hall. St David’s will be one of 80 places throughout Europe celebrating this event. The City Council will sign a petition demanding that EU law includes the democratic right of local and regional governments to decide whether GM crops can be cultivated in their area. A ‘Rebecca’ cycle ride from Mathry to St. David’s will also commemorate the community action of 4 years ago which stopped GM maize being grown in Pembrokeshire. Please come along to support our campaign and find out the facts of Genetic Modification and how it affects our environment and your food. Timetable of events: 12.15 – 12.30pm
