JOB DESCRIPTION The Electro-Acoustic FAE (Field Applications Engineer) will be a key role in the technical relationship with our customers. The FAE will be responsible for resolving customers’ technical issues, while pursuing design wins for our speaker, receiver, and microphone solutions. Specific training will be provided by Seltech’s suppliers and internal FAEs. This position is based at Seltech’s headquarters near Paris, France. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  Work together with customer on their application to develop / support their mechanical design using Seltech’s acoustic components  Provide acoustic integration guidance, perform acoustic simulations, and generate detailed written reports analyzing customer applications  Report to the Product Marketing Director  Help the Sales Engineers during their customer visits  Support the Sales Engineers with various acoustic application questions  Work with the Product Engineers responsible for Seltech’s product range  Willingness to expand his/her acoustic knowledge to cover GSM and telecom speakers, ECM and MEMS microphones, and other Seltech specific acoustic components  Collaborate with our global sales and project management team QUALIFICATIONS  Engineering degree in Electro-Acoustics or similar technical major.  Excellent oral and written English skills. Bilingual capabilities preferred.  Good communication skill  Good knowledge of CAD tools and simulation software (e.g., Microcap).  Focused attention to detail and timely follow up ability.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team.  Ability to travel regularly throughout Europe with some international travel  Willing to relocate to the Paris, France area.
