After learning how you should introduce yourself in French, introducing should naturally make sense. Just like with self-introductions, you should also distinguish between the formal and informal ways of introducing somebody else.

Introducing somebody else [Audio available: “s-appeler-conjug.mp3” in Conjugation lessons]

Variant #1: Je vous présente… Let me introduce you... Variante #2: Simply name the person being introduced with a hand gesture (palm-up position) and do the same for the other person in presence. Variante # 3 : Voici… (Here is…) Variant #4: Il s’appelle / Elle s’appelle… (His/her name is…)
