Welcome Europe 2008! The host club TSV Braunshardt, the Organisation Comitee, the city of Weiterstadt and all it’s partners welcomes you all to the final rounds of the 2008 European Championships in Weiterstadt -Germany from the 1st until the 4th of Mai 2008. How to find us Weiterstadt is located right in the middle of the Rhein Main district. On the near Autobahn A5 you can easily reach Frankfurt and the next centres in the North Mannheim and Heidelberg. The BMX-track is located in Weiterstadt which is about 10 minutes away from Darmstadt and 20 minutes away from Frankfurt. Coming from Autobahn A5 take the exit on interchange 25 to B42 towards Weiterstadt West. Follow the BMX signs from that point on. It´s just a few minutes driving away. Coming from Autobahn A67 take the exit Büttelborn towards Weiterstadt. Follow the BMX signs from that point on. It´s just a few minutes driving away.

Registration Fees Registration Fees for all challenge classes are: 27€ per category for 20” and/or 24” Registration Fees for the European championships classes are: € 57 per round for the elite classes € 32 per round for the junior classes Registration In order to enter the competition, only the national federations are allowed to register the riders. Only the federation is permitted to cancel the registrations until April 30th 2008 at 8 am. In this case the registration fee does not have to be paid. If a rider does not participate in the race without cancelling before due date, the registration fee must be paid. Deadline for your registration: 14th April 2008 Registrations after this deadline will be charged twice its cost until the April 30th 2008.After this date, any registration won´t be accepted. Registration Schedule Thursday May 1st, from 09.00 – 13.00 h. Only team managers of each federation are responsible for the registration of their riders. Please respect that no Plates, Badges etc. will be given out excepting the team managers.

National Teams / Trade Teams There will be space for the national teams and trade teams available for a cost of € 100. Fee has to be paid entering the team area for the first time. Number Plates Front number plates will be distributed. Note that the Organizer won’t give out any frame side number Plates! Rules The UEC / UCI Rules apply. All championship categories competitors are required to wear their national shirt or their national flag on both of their sleeves. Size on both shoulders at least 7x6 cm wide. The only exception is wearing the national shirt of their country. Clip Pedals are allowed for all categories from the age of 13 and over.

Catering There will be several food stands right next to the track that offer many kinds of culinary food and drinks. These ones will be open during all the events. Evening program included. First Aid There will be doctors and ambulances present all along the event. Furthermore the Red Cross, police and fireman will be at the area 24 hours/day. Shops and Stores There will be bike shops right next to the bmx track. The next supermarket is three minutes walking away. Restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies etc. are close-by as well. Camping Very close to the BMX track (around 300 metres walking) a camping site will be situated. The camping site is open from Friday, 25 April to Monday 5 May 2008. All places will have electricity access. With the nearby sport halls you will have the opportunity to take showers. In addition mobile toilets will set be set up. A baker and grocery will visit the camping site every morning. In addition a supermarket is around 5 minutes walking away. You will get 24 hours support, if you have any problems. Red Cross, Police and Fireman will be available 24 hours/day. Please use the reservation form that is included in the invitation.
