Test Your Applications Under Real-Life Production Network Conditions With Shunra VE - STJ ® Predict Application Performance over the WAN using Network Simulation! Designed for network managers, network architects and testing professionals, Shunra VE - STJ creates a mirror image of the global production network environment. Shunra VE - STJ’s powerful and flexible network simulation technology enables you to accurately test the functionality, scalability, and robustness of any distributed application under any network condition – in your lab. Predict the functionality, robustness, and scalability of your applications under any network condition Test the application under worst case/extreme network conditions Baseline application performance and compare between versions Troubleshoot and pinpoint production problems over a repeatable test bed See the end-user experience from anywhere in the world Ensure the application meets specifications before roll out Eliminate the need for testing on the production network Plan for provisioning and the addition or expansion of remote locations

Test the Application Under a Near Limitless Variety of Network Conditions Shunra VE - STJ enables you to simulate any network behavior including latency, data loss, data duplication and much more, giving you a true picture of application functionality under any network condition.

Feel the End-User Experience over Any Bandwidth With Shunra VE - STJ you can configure any virtual network link to support any bandwidth from a 56 Kbps modem connection or ADSL link up to a T3. This gives you the ability to accurately feel the end-users' experience over the selected bandwidth, and ensure that it sufficiently supports service level expectations, or know whether a bandwidth upgrade is needed.

Determine Functionality in Worst Case Scenarios Shunra VE - STJ is ideal for determining application functionality in "worst case scenarios". By accurately exercising the application over extreme network conditions, Shunra VE - STJ brings the end-users’ pain to life, helping you evaluate risk scenarios and plan accordingly.

Easy Automatic Setup and Configuration of the Network Environment Shunra VE - STJ is extremely flexible and can automatically detect any lab environment and seamlessly integrate within it. It does not require any changes to the existing lab setup, and can be installed and running within an hour. Designing and running an enterprise scenario is simple and easy. Using Microsoft Visio®, which is included with Shunra VE - STJ, you simply drag-and-drop the components that comprise the production environment to create a visual model of any network environment. An alternative to manually diagramming the network environment is to simply import the production network topology into the lab. Shunra VE - STJ can actively record the behavior of multiple production network links 24 x 7 and import the recording into the enterprise lab, thereby recreating the exact behavior of the production network.

Once the network environment is created, you simply

point-and-click to automatically activate or deactivate the test scenario, and then view the wide variety of real-time statistics and graphs.
