If your poor old arms are getting tired like mine are, you will appreciate this rivet squeezer helper as much as I have. Materials can be found around most shops. This "helper" requires very little special equipment and can be made in an hour. Choose dimensions that will allow you to slip the "helper" over the handles of your squeezer. You should be able to pull the cam handle down to begin the squeeze, then slip the "helper" outward and repeat. Remember not to exceed the rivet capacity of your squeezer.

Pilots who fly airplanes with center forward gas tanks have the problem of remembering to transfer gas to the tank in order to keep the engine running. It is a tedious job to remember to transfer the gas to the tank. I don't have to remind you what happens when the engine quits! Explanation of how the circuit works: There are two relays and two float swiches. Relay # 1 routes the high current to the fuel pump. Relay #2 is used to hold the first relay closed while the tank is filling up. Switch #1 (bottom float switch) turns the fuel pump on when the tank gets (half full) empty. The bottom float switch is placed about the center of the tank so that it doesn't take so long to fill the tank and to give us time to spot a malfunction. Switch #2 (top float switch) turns off the fuel pump when the tank gets full. The automatic circuitry can't be turned off unless another switch is placed in series with the bottom float switch. This switch is shown in the circuit and is optional. NOTE: The float switches are normally used with the float dropping down, n o r m a l l y open, closing the switch when the fuel floats the float. In this circuit the float switch must
float up. This means the switch is normally closed, and the switch opens when the fuel floats the float, which also means turn the switch over so that the float will float up. The fuel pump has a manual override switch (I use a lighted one).
