The role of an engineer consists of setting and solving concrete and often complex problems linked to design, manufacture and use of products, systems and services. We are trained to carry out all the roles in industrial computing in an international environment: Networks Systems, Software Engineering, Databases, Security, Industrial and Specialised Computing, Software Quality, Automation and Production. I’m in my third and final year.

Experiences July-Sept 2004 Naprodis Inc. California – USA:
Nine weeks internship. I was in charge of developing a website to allow the integration of the Internet in the production, sales and delivery chain. Naprodis Inc. is a company that wanted to sell its products directly to customers through a web site. I created an Online Store, tested it and set it up on a new secured web host. I deal with new areas like web hosting, secured transactions and PHP scripts development. The online store is working fine (www.naprodis.com) and Naprodis’ president is satisfied with it. I’m still maintaining this web site. I would like to work on a bigger project with a team.
July-Aug 2003 College Saint Charles, Angers – France:
Six weeks internship as a worker during the first year of engineer’s cycle. I installed multimedia equipment in the classes (video projectors, computers with Internet) and I participated to the computer maintenance (cleaning, cloning and repairing). During this internship I discovered the management of a school and the problems of budgets given by the state.
July-Aug 2002 Interim Work, Angers - France:
I worked 2 months in several electrical engineering companies around Angers. This experience convinced me to continue my studies because I was not satisfied with the situation and position that I could have with my qualifications. I decided also to change to information technologies and networks because it was a part of my studies I really loved and I wanted to deepen.
July-Aug 2001 C.F. Gomma, Rennes - France:
Six weeks internship at the end of the first year of first degree. I participated in the optimization of an plastics extrusion line in the automation and sensor part of the system. It was my first experience in the industrial world and I discovered how to work in a team, using the knowledge of everybody. I like the fact that my work was in touch with automation, electrical, mechanical engineering.

English Fluent : § Test Of English for International Communication: 865 (http://www.toeiceurope.com) This test measures English comprehension, writing and reading skills in an international environment. § Study stay of three months in 2003 in Liverpool University (England). Coursework included: networks, web publishing, databases, system software and analysis. I also improved my spoken English in IT engineering. § 2 months internship: San Diego (California – USA) where I improved my oral comprehension and expression. I would like to work in a country where English is spoken.
German Good basic communication: § Study stay of four months in 2004 in the Fachhochschule of Pforzheim (Germany). Coursework included: databases, Visual Basic, embedded systems development (Windows CE). Projects: fiber optic gyroscopes, Printed Circuit Board design for digital video conversion, HTML Gallery Generator, Multi-Meter Client-Server Application on Windows CE. A great experience learning how to manage in a country where I didn’t at first speak the language well.

Applications I’m used to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio) but I can
work with any other office suite (Lotus, Open Office). I like design 2D and 3D and I use Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, Macromedia Flash, 3Ds Max.
PHP Scripts I programmed modifications and themes for bulletin board (Vbulletin, PHP bulletin board and Invision Power Board), e-commerce shops (osCommerce) and news portal (WordPress, Invision Portal, b2evolution).
Other I have a full driving licence I would like to work outside France. I play Roller-Hockey (we won the France Championship in 2000) and squash. What I don’t know intrigues me.
