Technical Rider We usually tour with all the equipment we need. But we're always happy to use the equipment that's already at the venue. Here is a list of the material we could use if you have it : 1x amp for electric bass 1x tube amp for electric guitar 1x tube amp for rhodes 1x drumset (without cymbals, without snare) 1x microphone for announcement We use to play acoustically in small venues. If the venue wants to amplify our concert they need their own equipment and sound engineer (we don't have any PA, monitor, mixtable and engineer).

Catering We're 7 musicians in the band and we all love and enjoy food. There's no allergies, no vegetarian and no vegan among us. We're always happy to discover local food and local drinks.

Dank ihres Debut Albums “reanimation“ (2013) sowie ihrem Auftreten in verrückter Operationskleidung können sie seit ihrer Gründung auf einen beachtlichen Start aufbauen. Zahlreiche internationale Tourneen, sowie die Teilnahme an renommierten Veranstaltungen, wie zum Beispiel dem ZKB Jazzpreis 2012, der Radio Show JazzZ – Espace 2 (2013), dem Label Suisse Festival 2014 und bei Suisse Diagonales Jazz 2015 haben der Band erlaubt ihre Musik zu entwickeln und sich auf das Essentielle zu fokussieren. Keine Masken, keine Skalpelle mehr! Die neue Fahrtrichtung für die ehemaligen in grün und türkis gekleideten Doktoren macht Platz für eine noch interaktivere Form des Ausdrucks, bei der jeder Musiker die Kompositionen des Bandleaders Laurent Méteau durch seine Persönlichkeit unterstützt und weiterentwickelt. Inspiriert von der architektonischen Avantgarde, wie zum Beispiel der japanischen Metabolist-Bewegung, hat Laurent Méteau die Pläne seiner utopischen Vision von Musik entworfen – immer darauf bedacht Platz für die individuellen Talente seiner Bandmitglieder zu lassen. Diese musikalische Erneuerung wurde in der Ostschweiz erfasst, als die Band ein Berghaus für die Gelengenheit in ein Tonstudio umgewandelt hat. Le caractère décalé des médecins vêtus de vert et de turquoise a laissé place à un mode d’expression plus interactif, où la personnalité de chaque musicien enrichit les compositions du leader du groupe Laurent Méteau. Inspiré par les styles d'architecture avant-gardiste comme le mouvement Métaboliste japonais, Laurent Méteau dessine les plans des nouveaux morceaux en combinant les talents de ses compagnons de scène à sa vision utopique de la musique. Un renouvellement musical capturé dans une maison de montagne des Grisons, transformée pour l'occasion en studio d'enregistrement. English : Building on a remarkable start since its inception, with thanks to their debut album “reanimation“ (2013) as well as appearances in crazy surgeon outfits, the seven members of Laurent Méteau's METABOLISM will present their new album “UTOPIA“ this November. Several international tours, along with participation in prestigious events including the ZKB Jazzpreis 2012, radio show JazzZ on Espace 2 in 2013, the Label Suisse festival 2014 and Suisse Diagonales Jazz 2015 has made their music evolve and has allowed the band to focus on the fundamentals. The new direction for these former doctors dressed in green and turquoise leaves room for a more interactive form of expression, where each musician’s personality enhances the compositions of bandleader Laurent Méteau. Drawing inspiration from architectural avant-garde styles like the Japanese Metabolist movement, Laurent Méteau has designed the new pieces' plans, leaving space for his bandmates' talents alongside his utopian vision of the music.
