Middle School SOA Rocks -‐ the SR4 Concert On Saturday 25th April, at the Tannay Commune Hall, an audience of students, parents and staff enjoyed a feast of rock music provided by 21 student performers and 9 staff, aptly called the 'Relics' -‐ Jim Fleurent, Mike Friend, Etienne Chabilan, Amanda Gardiner, Laurent Nigg, Dominique Schwarz, Phil Shaw, Darryl McGuire and a brilliant John Sheehy wearing dark shades. There was a great spirit in the hall, particularly promoted by the PFA under the cheerful and hard-‐working Dave Lyon and his team. Please take a look at the accompanying photos to get a feel for the experience. This charity event, the inspiration and hard work of Phil Shaw, raised a profit of CHF1320 for SOA, thereby meeting 50% of the total operating costs of the Serenje orphanage for 1 month. So, a tremendous effort. Thank you to all who participated or supported the event.
