Automation control modules

Simplicity itself ! A concentrated solution Ideal for your small automation control applications, millenium can manage : – Time delays – Counters, relays – Clock programming – Analogue control – Threshold monitoring – Console and associated logic processing

Integrated operator console Edit your messages in plain text, define your setpoints.

A range with several versions : 6 - 10 and 20 inputs/outputs, in 24 VDC or 100-240 VAC-50-60 Hz. Powerful relay outputs : 8 to 10 A depending on the model. Up to 8 inputs on 24 VDC units used as digital OR analogue (0-10 VDC, 8 bits). Special control functions are available for domestic or simple industrial applications.

When setting up your project, choose : "Simplicity" : Enter parameters directly using the buttons and the screen on the "front" panel. "Performance" : Program your PC using the Crouzet Software CLS software workshop for design, simulation, testing and direct transfer.

A Year 2000 compatible realtime calendar clock as standard on the whole range, with 350 programmable ON/OFF cycles! When setting the date, the day of the week is calibrated automatically, plus automatic changeover between winter/summer time!

➾ replace expensive programming clocks.

The millenium range is suitable for both domestic electrical applications and industrial requirements such as controlling small machines.

Outputs 8 buttons and LCD screen for programming on the unit

CLS software makes it easy to define and check your wiring diagrams millenium offers you programs with 64

Toolbox selector – Inputs, outputs, functions

function blocks, stored on EEPROM. Moreover, an optional removable EEPROM cartridge is available for remote transfer of modifications, for example. Data is stored in self-protected RAM (no battery required) for 20 days in the event of mains failure.

Performance

Simplicity Programmed directly on the unit. An LCD screen (4 lines of 10 characters) with display function (messages and values) and operator console. Program, edit, modify - all using the 8 buttons on the front. System builders and software integrators alike can easily create any type of automation system.

– Direct programming of boolean functions – Online help specifies whether or not millenium is connected during simulation – Program password-protected with 3 security levels. – Buttons on front can be assigned to programmed functions. – Complete program listing

Use the mouse for fingertip control of your project

– Select the icon for the function, input or output. – Place it on the screen. – Define the setpoints. – Draw the connections. – Test your wiring diagram. – Supervise the installation from the "SKETCH system" screen. – Transfer your program to

millenium (EEPROM).

– Print your program listing.

Description

AND (up to 4 digital inputs)

AND. Output ON when all inputs present are ON.

OR (up to 4 digital inputs)

OR. Output ON when at least one input present is ON.

XOR (2 digital inputs)

OR. EXCLUSIVE. Output ON when only one input is ON.

NOT (1 digital input)

NOT. Reverses the signal. Output ON if input OFF, and OFF if input ON.

NAND (up to 4 digital inputs)

NOT AND. Output ON when at least one input present is OFF.

NOR (up to 4 digital inputs)

NOT OR. Output ON when all inputs present are OFF.

BOOLEAN (up to 4 digital inputs)

Can be used to create logic equations between the connected variables. Option of testing the equation.

SET/RESET

Bistable memory. Priority assigned to either SET or RESET.

DELAY

Delays a (digital) signal from a rising edge, falling edge, or both at once. Option of using RESET (Functions A.C. Ac).

ONE SHOT

Sends an adjustable pulse signal. Conditions for clearing the digital output : end of time delay or RESET (function B).

PULSE

Sends a pulse from a rising edge, a falling edge, or both at once.

ALT

Alternates the digital output signal on each rising edge of the digital input. Option of using RESET.

COUNTER

Counter incremented on each rising edge of the digital input. Option of using RESET. Preset value can be assigned by a digital value.

UP/DW COUNTER

Counter incremented (digital input), decremented (digital input) on each rising edge. Preset value can be assigned by a digital value (parameter) or by an analogue input. 1 digital input for accessing the preset value directly. Option of using RESET.

FLICKER

Sends a pulse train (ON, OFF) according to several different modes: counting ON/OFF cycles (preselection), counting the time (preselection), continuous (advanced Di function).

COMPARE

Compares two analogue or digital values. Activates the digital output if the equation is verified.

TIMES SWITCH

Program clock. Uses the module internal time and date to activate or deactivate the digital output. 24-hour, 7-day and calendar time bases. Year 2000 compliant. Summer time function. Up to 350 ON/OFF cycles per program.

GAIN

Can be used to convert an analogue value by changing the scale and offset. Parameters : gain numerator, gain denominator, offset, lower and upper conversion limits.

SCHMITT

Defines an activation zone with hysteresis (On values, off values) for the digital output.

ZONE COMPARE

Defines a range (analogue or digital values) in which activation (or deactivation depending on which option is checked) of the digital output depends on the value being used.

DISPLAY

Display of digital and analogue data, character strings, date, time, messages for the man-machine interface.

HOUR METER

Counts the time (preselected in hours or minutes) during each activation of the digital input. Memorisation of elapsed time. Option of using RESET.
