Position  Description:     The  successful  Regional  Sales  Engineer  is  the  core  technical  resource  for  our  sales  and   partnering  organizations.  The  position  is  responsible  for  actively  driving  and   managing  the  technology  evaluation  stage  of  the  sales  process,  working  in  conjunction   with  the  partner  and  sales  teams  as  the  key  technical  advisor  and  product  advocate.     As  a  Regional  Sales  Engineer  you  will  be  actively  demonstrating  Nexthink’s   technology  to  partners,  prospects  and  customers,  and  helping  partners  and  customers   determine  the  technical  integration  that  best  meets  their  business  needs.    This   includes  understanding  the  needs  of  prospective  customers’  businesses  and   translating  those  needs  into  a  demonstration  of  capabilities  that  help  IT  departments   with  security,  ITSM  and  workplace  transformation,  managing  pilot  implementation   projects,  and  working  with  sales  teams  to  communicate  business  value  and  ROI/TEI   in  proposals.    

Job  Duties:   Must  be  able  to  articulate  technology  and  product  positioning  to  both  business   and  technical  users   • Must  be  able  to  identify  all  technical  issues  of  assigned  accounts  to  assure   complete  customer  satisfaction  through  all  stages  of  the  sales  process.     • Must  be  able  to  establish  and  maintain  strong  relationships  throughout  the   sales  cycle   • Provide  product  and  technical  demonstrations   • Be  responsible  for  pilot  project  management  and  implementation   • Provide  training  and  sales  support   • Travel  regionally  as  required  -­‐-­‐  40+%  working  on-­‐site  with  customers  and   partners   •

A  proven  track  record  as  a  Sales  Engineer  working  with  sales,  professional   services,  and  partner  teams   Experience  working  with  enterprise-­‐level  IT  accounts   Experience  with  ITSM  solutions     Experience  with  endpoint  security  solutions   Experience  with  workplace  transformation,  such  as,  VDI  and  OS  migration   Experience  presenting  integration  with  existing  IT  systems  and  processes   Experience  with  application  performance  management  solutions  is  a  plus   Proven  track  record  of  educating  prospective  customers  and  partners  via  in-­‐ depth  product  demonstrations   Strong  analytical  skills   Creative  problem  solving  abilities   Ability  to  work  exceptionally  well  in  a  team  environment   BS  Computer  Science  Degree  or  equivalent   10+  years  of  technical  sales  experience   Strong  presentation  and  communications  skills,  both  oral  and  written   Ability  to  navigate  complex  technical  and  political  situations  with  customers   and  partners
