Concept Miss’ile represent a unique concept to promote all the disciplines in female Skating. Skating is nowadays one of the more accessible sport. Practiced more and more, it adapts to all ages, levels and occasions : for spare time, competitions, shows, as well as transportation or sport activity, from a balad to daring disciplines’ extrem sensations. Breaking the masculine world skating image, the Miss’iles are wishing to offer an original feminine touch, introduce and make access to a new skate dimension.

Les Miss’iles A TEAM THAT MADE ITS PROVE Created by Cecile Klaus, the Miss’ile team exists since 2004. She started to perform on skates for LEVI’S and for the french rapper MC Solaar, then she completes the first Miss’ile ten members team to compete at Le Mans 24hours race. Made of skaters from different skate disciplines, this original team immediatly knows a success finishing 5th in the women ranking, The Miss’ile develops an assertive identity since they realized their feminine skate calendar and several new competition results. The Miss’ile association is created the next year and gathers most of all french specialists and champion from all skate disciplines.

L’ASSOCIATION

The association main goal is promoting all the skating disciplines in female skating. It offers to all levels females skaters the opportunity to get introduced, trained and improve in a structure of different training sessions (slalom, rollerdance, downhill, speed, freeskate, jump, agressive skating, rollerbasket,..). It also affords the facility to participate to competitions and events, within a dynamic, polyvalent and irreductible team!

The Disciplines ROLLERDANCE The Rollerdance is a discipline mixing skating and dance. Born from artistic ice-skating and the disco explosion in the 70’s, the rollerdance remove up with the music evolution and gets inspired today by hip-hop and urban dances.

DOWNHILL

downhill is, as well as agressive skating, an  extreme discipline. The aim is to hurtle down a hill of 10 to 20% incline, in a record time. The competitions provide a spectacular show, within the choice of obstacles like tight hairpin turns or chicanes. Experience: in competitions following the IIDA season (Inline International Downhill Association), French and World, Cham-

pionships and Cups, as well as on Bobsleigh Tracks like the Red Bull Hot Run.

SLALOM The slalom realizes different figures dazzling footwork and amazing body moves around a series of cones on the floor. The flow and technical precision of the performance displays spectacular combinations. Experience: in performances, demonstrations, or competitions following the WSSA circuit (World Slalom Series) supervised by SEBA.

SPEED Speed and endurance skating. Experience: in competitions, in solo or within a team, at the

24h of Le Mans race, 24h of Montreal, Marathon of New York City, 24H Grol Race and all other 6h, 12h or 24h speed races, as well as FIC (French Inline Cup) or WIC (World Inline Cup) marathons.

FREERIDE Skating solo or within a group. Experience: in spare time, within a freeride group, on a balad or playing with street obstacles.

AGGRESSIVE SKATING/ SKATE-CROSS

Slides, jumps and figures, on a bar or on a ramp, in the city or a skate park. This discipline is impressive by extreme action and daring, flying figures. The Skate Cross is a race in a skate park. Experience: in competitions or contests depending on occasional events FISE circuit (International Federation of Extreme Sports) and WSX (World Skate Cross Series).

HOCKEY

hockey on skates respect the same rules and equipment as ice-hockey. Experience: in spare time or in competitions, following the RILH World Championship (Roller Inline Hockey).

ROLLERBASKET / ROLLERTENNIS Basket-ball or tennis on skates. Experience: in spare time, in competitions (occasional

World Cups) or commercials (Benedicta)

The Team CECILE KLAUS

Founder of the Miss’iles, Cecile Klaus comes from New York professional Dance and SkateDance backgrounds. Project Manager and Unique Skate Dance Choreographer, she leads the company and represents it in events and medias (interviews for France2, France3 CanalJ and France Ô). She also competes at downhill (3rd French & 6th World 2009 Championships) and marathon (3rd place at the 42k NYC 2014 inSkate Marathon)

AMANDINE ETELAGE Professional dancer and choreographer assistant, Amandine Etelage performs with the unique skate dance company Miss’ile

Skate Dance. She also competes in 24h speed competitions

ALBANE DELOULE Versatile skater, Albane Deloule is a high experienced speed

and downhill skater, cumulating marathons, 24h races and downhill World Cups. Her team recently finished 3rd place at the

international 24h race of Le Mans.

INES HAEFFNER Coming from artistic skating background, Ines Haeffner offers her

Special Skills and choreography assistance to the Miss’ile Skate Dance Company. She’s also a trained speed skater and a perfect

Team Captain to aim results.

MAGALI PIASECKI

Qualified Skate Coach, Magali Piasecki is an indipensable speed trainer and team member. She competes for international races like the 24h Grol Race and won the 4th place with the team this year.
