Dynamic Range

Distance Uncertainty

Determine accuracy of distance measurement. Distance uncertainty (m): ∆L = ± (dl + dL + 5 x10-5L), where dl = 1 m is the distance scale offset; dL is resolution L - measured distance, m.

Measurement result is determined by the number of data points over the distance range. At 16,000 data points, the resolution is 0.6 m for 5 and 10 km distance range, 1.3 m for 20 km distance range, 2.5 m for 40 km distance range, 5.1 m for 80 km distance range, 7.6 m for 120 km distance range
