Statement T.D.C. expresses its deepest concerns and disappointment regard to the elusive and ambiguous attitude of the leaders of CNRP. It is evident, that the objective targeted by these late accuses unexpected cleavage and deviates dangerously from the popular wills. Khmers who voted for the CNRP hoping for a radical change, is concerned about the current political situations in Cambodia. First, they want CNRP to defend their electoral victory of July 28, 2013, stolen by the PPC, which outrageous revolted the country and the world. And beyond all, by their votes, they hope, CNRP liberates Cambodia from the colonialist yoke of Vietnamese and that of China. However, it has been given that, by the subterfuge stunning politicians, CNRP no longer carries the hopes. It is not a secret for anyone that the CNRP plays double game by negotiating behind the closed doors with the PPC and on the one hand holding Cambodians as hostage. The Khmer people are aware that the negotiations between CPP and CNRP at September 16 2013 has already sealed the fate reserved for them: maintain Hun Sen in power until the end of the fifth Parliament, and therefore leave this regime at the sold of Vietnamese to kill all opponents. All the events that followed that pact with the devil, those included the psychological and brutal repressions, are only masquerades from politicians to deceive the Khmer people and the world. By agreeing to participate in the election to which conditions are contradicted to the recommendations of the international community, Mr. Sam Rainsy explicitly chose to follow the path traced by Sihanouk, in other words, the consolidation of the communist bloc led by the Beijing and Hanoi. It’s obvious that this policy, which had brought the country from a disaster to other, does not correspond in any way to the wills of Khmer people victim of this double hegemony since 1975 and dreaded by young Cambodians. It is regrettable that Mr. Sam Rainsy has chosen such a path for Cambodia at a time when Cambodians claim their rights and totally disapproved of this anti-democratic policy for firming which Mr. Sam Rainsy hope, moreover, drag Khmer people Khmer with him. It is clear that if Mr. Sam Rainsy really wanted to carry the hope of the Khmer people, he would have called for the implementation of the Paris Peace Agreements so far trampled. Mr. Sam Rains, who run policy for the last twenty years against communists, is well aware that even if all people voted for him, the communists would not let him take the power, unless he integrates to the system. But it happens, in the current context a struggle of a people for their independence, for their sovereignty, for their inalienable rights to self-defense, for future posterity. So there is no possible compromise with the invaders and those who want the disappearance of Cambodia and Cambodian people. T.D.C. solemnly declare that T.D.C. will not recognize any negotiation between the two political parties which, for the moment, still occupy entirely Khmer politics. The negotiations between the two parties, which do not reflect the wills of the Khmer people, are illegitimated and will be rejected by the people. T.D.C. reminds CNRP that the government to which Sam Rainsy negotiated with is an illegal government and will remain at state, after Khmer institution article 76, 78 and 82, even CNRP decide to join in the near future. If CNRP willing to legal this illegal government by any means whatsoever, the T.D.C. will not recognize such a legal charade because the closed-door negotiations between the two parties is armed to preserve the interests of both parties and not those of Khmer people. Without effective participation of the true representatives of the inalienable interest of the Khmer people, no national decision would be valid. In this case, the Khmer people repeatedly flouted, reserve all their rights for self-determination. Phnom Penh April 23 2014 Transitional Democratic Council
