T-37A – Arsenalen Tank Museum, Strängnäs (Sweden) – running condition rd

Captured by the Finnish Army on 18 December 1939 during a battle with the Russian 273 mountain-rifle regiment nearby Pelkosenniemi (Source : book "the Soviet tanks in the Finnish army" Part 4 ; "The tank in the field of battle" magazine No.25, 2005). It was originally a command tank with antenna, but somewhere (probably in Soviet before 1939 or early days of the invasion of Finland) the antenna was removed. Colour and star is not original, and the flotation devices have been replaced by replica - this was done at the former Tank Museum in the 1970's. When the tank arrived to Sweden in January 1940 it was all White (Stefan Karlsson).

I’m looking for photos of those tanks : any T37, T-38 or T-40 tank that I forgot….

This document is a compilation of photos published on the web. I would like to thank especially Rafał Białęcki, who deserved a great part of the job on this document, and also the people who took these photos and put them on their websites, or sent them to me, and those who helped me doing these lists (particularly people of the AFV News Discussion Board). For any question, you can email me at [email protected] Main page : http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_Panzers.html
