Information about the British Isles This document is a map, it represents the British Isles. They are composed of five countries. At the north of the map, there is Scotland. In the south of Scotland, there is England. In the west of England, there is Wales. Opposite Wales is the Republic of Ireland because there is the Irish Sea in-between.
