ADERSE corresponds to a new field in the process of construction, that is essentially transversal

Besides, the subject of CSR calls for an opening to other disciplines: social sciences, philosophy, political science, future studies, etc.

ADERSE is open to all the streams of thought that are linked to CSR in a way or another

To increase the ethical, societal and environmental awareness of Universities and Business Schools in France

To become an academic resource centre providing information and tools for education and research: - an inventory of existing programs - case studies of companies involved - syllabi and other teaching materials - a list of references and websites

To favor the two following processes regarding the development of CSR in business education: - the creation of specific courses dedicated to this subject in order to grasp its global and transversal nature - the integration of ethical and CSR-related issues into traditional management courses

To represent a permanent platform for discussion on the contents and pedagogy of CSR courses

To bring visibility at the national level and enable professors to bypass traditional frontiers

The objectives of ADERSE (4) z

To generate change in economic and social practices Relationships between academics and other actors such as business-led networks, NGOs, multistakeholder forums… are not only useful, but also necessary to the constitution of the CSR field and to the adoption of CSR business policies

To overcome the separation that has long prevailed in France between the professional and academic spheres, and to develop a constructive dialogue free of prejudices or ideologies ADERSE has already set up partnerships with ORSE, the Cercle Ethique des Affaires, TI France, and ISEOR

ADERSE can represent a lever for change : - in the academic sphere - and beyond, in society at large It plays the role of a spur, of a catalyst, to accelerate the change of mindsets in B-schools

Through its efforts to establish linkages with other specialized networks, ADERSE also contributes - to the building up of a new social contract - to the search for the common good ADERSE is open to all forms of collaboration that can help achieve these wider goals as well as its own goals
