1. Heat 2 pints of water (if possible distilled) in a saucepan. 2. Cut half of a red cabbage into cubes and put them in the water. 3. When the water boils, switch off the heating. 4. Take away the cubes of red cabbage, filter the solution through a coffee filter and pour the filtrate in a bottle that can be hermetically closed. 5. The red cabbage juice can be stored for several months in a fridge, in a closed bottle. It will not be subject to degradation and it will not produce any bad cabbage smells. 6.
