B- Customer panel problem flow chart 1. In cases of any problem which is detected on panels during the customer final inspection or on field by the end user, customer is required to report the defect data subsequently to VESTEL (e-mail to [email protected] ) by attached official form (Panel Defect Description Form). 2. Warranty • Warranty period - 18 months from date of panel assembly. • Functional failures, induced by defective material or by Manufacrurer manufacturing process. • Cracked / broken glass or Polariser scratches are not accepted as ‘in warranty failures’. 3. Vestel collects all customers data, prepares and periodically sends RMA report to supplier for compensation or repair request. 4. VESTEL follows up the RMA procedure and informs customer about the resulting actions in earliest means. 5. In order to avoid delays in problem solving, Customers ; • Will purchase spare panels in quantites that below (*)% of purchased products. (*) Lot qty < 100 => 1 pc. >101 3 pcs. >501 5 pcs. • Will replace the panel without delay if the customer return is due to panel defect. • Will report the panel defect using the form attached to this procedure. The process of defect evaluation may take 1-4 weeks.
